EvolvedRP Server Rules
Read them. Know them. Do not be the reason staff has to explain common sense.

These rules are here to keep the server fair, fun, and playable for everyone. Staff have final say when a situation is unclear.

1. Core Rules

1.1 Respect and Conduct
  • Treat players and staff with basic respect.
  • Harassment, racism, slurs, hate speech, targeted insults, and excessive toxicity are not allowed.
  • Roleplay insults are fine when they actually fit the scene, but do not use RP as an excuse to harass people.
  • Do not spam voice chat, text chat, props, adverts, or any other server feature.
  • Listen to staff during sits and staff situations.
  • If you think a staff member handled something unfairly, speak with another staff member or make a staff complaint with valid proof.

1.2 RDM and CDM
  • No RDM: Do not kill or damage players without a valid RP reason.
  • No CDM: Do not use vehicles to randomly hit, injure, or kill players.
  • Accidents can still be punished if they are reckless, repeated, or clearly avoidable.

1.3 FailRP and FearRP
  • Do not FailRP. Stay within your job, your role, and the situation you are in.
  • FearRP means you value your life. If you are clearly threatened, outnumbered, restrained, or held at gunpoint, you must act like your life matters.
  • FearRP applies during raids, mugs, kidnappings, hostage situations, arrests, and similar situations.
  • You cannot ignore a serious threat just because you know you can respawn.

1.4 New Life Rule
  • After dying, you may not return to your place of death or rejoin the same situation for 3 minutes.
  • After death, you forget the details of what killed you.
  • You may still remember basic life info such as your name, job, home, workplace, and general identity.
  • Civil Protection may break NLR only during PD raids or PD takeovers, and may return after 2 minutes.

1.5 Exploits, Macros, and Abuse
  • Do not abuse props, tools, physics guns, entities, keypads, fading doors, or server systems.
  • Prop climb, prop kill, prop block, prop bridge abuse, and similar behavior are not allowed.
  • Do not pick up vehicles with a physgun unless staff allows it.
  • Do not use macros, scripts, or automation to print money, bitmine, farm income, or bypass gameplay.
  • Do not abuse game mechanics to dodge RP consequences.

1.6 Cop Baiting
  • Do not intentionally provoke police into chasing, arresting, or attacking you without a valid RP reason.
  • Cop baiting includes repeatedly speeding in front of police, flashing weapons just to start a chase, or insulting officers only to force an incident.

2. Communication Rules

2.1 Adverts
  • Raids, carjacks, mugs, and kidnappings do not need to be advertised unless a job rule says otherwise.
  • Gang wars, terror actions, lockdowns, and special situations must follow their own advert or broadcast rules.

2.2 Warnings
  • Before killing someone for trespassing, loitering, or refusing to leave, you must give 3 clear warnings.
  • Warnings must be visible or audible to the target.
  • Warnings must be spaced out enough for the player to react.
  • Example: /y Leave now. Warning 1/3.
  • You may only kill after the third valid warning if the player keeps doing it.

3. Crime and Combat Rules

3.1 Raiding
  • You may only raid if your job allows it.
  • Do not raid as the wrong job or class.
  • Do not repeatedly raid the same base or player to harass them.
  • Raid cooldown is 5 minutes.
  • You may not raid the police station without a valid reason, such as breaking someone out of jail or completing a real RP objective.
  • Everyone involved in a raid must follow FearRP.

3.2 Mugging
  • You may only mug if your job allows it.
  • The maximum mug amount is $5,000.
  • The victim must be given a fair chance to comply.
  • The mugger and victim must both follow FearRP.

3.3 Kidnapping and Hostages
  • You may only kidnap if your job allows it.
  • Hostage situations must be taken seriously.
  • Police must prioritize hostage safety and make reasonable efforts to meet demands when lives are at risk.
  • Demands must be realistic and possible within server rules.

3.4 Carjacking
  • You may only carjack if your job allows it.
  • Government vehicles may not be carjacked unless it is absolutely needed to preserve your life or escape a valid RP threat.

3.5 Countering Crimes
  • You may only counter raids, carjacks, kidnappings, or similar crimes if you are directly involved.
  • You may also counter if you are allied with the victim, in the same party or gang, or your job specifically allows it.
  • Randomly joining fights you have nothing to do with is not allowed.

4. Government and Police Rules

4.1 Government Conduct
  • Government jobs may not commit illegal acts.
  • Government jobs may not own money printers, drugs, or other illegal entities.
  • Government jobs may not randomly arrest, tase, warrant, or want players.

4.2 Arrests, Wants, and Warrants
  • No RDA: Do not arrest players without a valid reason.
  • Do not randomly tase players.
  • Do not randomly want or warrant players.
  • Warrants require valid proof.

  • Officers who request false warrants may be punished.

4.3 Police Department Rules
  • The PD lobby must stay accessible at all times.

  • Civil Protection may break NLR only during PD raids.

4.4 Police Restrictions
  • Civil Protection may not base, own doors, or build, including inside PD.
  • Civil Protection may not use the battering ram to access restricted areas without a valid reason.
  • Civil Protection may not want or warrant someone for having a gun inside their own base.
  • Civil Protection may not kill arrested players unless they leave their jail cell or become a real threat.
  • Civil Protection may not unarrest players without permission from the Mayor or General, unless neither is online and there is a valid reason.
  • No Stun Stick Abuse.

5. Mayor Rules
